My first one I did is pretty basic but I like how the texture came out.

I was just playing Destiny 2 and spent a good amount of time admiring Savathun's throne world shrubbery. It left me with two thoughts: 1) The technical execution is neat. 2) The topiary suggests there's at least one bug person who's job it is to run around and trim everything.

ooo I like that method of duplicating the mesh and making it smaller on the inside... I just made some hedges too!

i like the duplicating method but it can be a bit expensive because of the two layers of masked materials; so i do a bit of an inbetween, masked alpha leaves with a smaller opaque leaf material underneath

Goated techniques

I love it when gamedevs spend that little extra time on digital hedges to make them not just a box shape! Thanks for sharing, and showing off several methods by which that is done!
