Ahh those middle park days. I was a youngster but I know where he is coming from. It may take a year or so but he will handpick his own team, teach them his system & lets see where it takes him. Top 6 in his 2nd year would be a good achievement.

This match against Chelsea, is my favourite Ange Postecoglou memory at Tottenham Hotspur. This was not just in regards to football, but also in regards to life. Watching Ange never back down from the Tottenham motto “Audere Est Facere” was a key changing point in my life. I learnt that, even when things don’t go your way or are seemingly impossible, you should never shy away from your true beliefs, or who/what made you. As Ange mentioned in the UEL final speech. At the top of the league, with 9 men, against one of our biggest rivals, Ange didn’t shy us away in a shell, he dared, and he did. He showed to us supporters a team that genuinely bleed Lilywhite, we hadn’t seen do that for many, many years. That’s why, after a 4-1 loss, Spurs were sent off to a standing ovation from the home support. This is why Ange means more than just football to me and so many others, he represents faith, confidence, and success. Gaffer.

All Ange is focused on is his tactic being used in games and he doesnt care about anything else So many of our best players look lost, lacking confidence in their own ability on a football. You cant sit there and say that Vicario, Maddison, Son, Solanke, Porro, Romero, Bissouma, Sarr, Udogie are all just suddenly poor players who need their futures considering or just players out of form. I’ve always had a deep admiration for Spain. Not just because they win, but because of the way they see football. Pay attention to Saudi . They’re hosting the World Cup in 2034 and they have serious plans to do well at that World Cup. First thing for them is to invest in their league. These Saudi players in this Uruguay game, you could see their quality. They’re being coached by elite managers, they play with or against Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, Mahrez, Mane, etc. these are players that have won everything. Exposure to such training programmes, world class coaches and team mates, facilities, it’s just madness. Most of the players in their squad are from the 4 government-owned teams like Hilal, Nassr, Ahli, some from Al Qadsia too which is also a good side. These top teams are exposed to world class structures (you can’t say same for the others, but that’s why the squad is made up of most players from the top teams). One of their players, Saud, was even bold enough to leave the league and he’s just done amazingly well at RC Lens this season,after he joined on loan from Roma. This is good for them too. Steven Gerrard shared a bit about the Saudi plan on “Stick to Football” recently. He said one of the things they told him was that they wanted to develop their academies especially and they wanted him to be part of it. I’ve attached the video. There’s an u21 league that is serious now in Saudi. You can also go pro at 16 years of age in Saudi now. It was 18 before. The youngsters are also exposed to these facilities which will aid their development, because some of them are expected to make that squad in 2034. Let me end this tweet with the shortfall of this project. Due to the influx of top players, many of these young players are not getting so much playing time, and they need to. They have a decent national team now but most of them won’t be present in 2034 when they host the World Cup at home. You can understand why these top teams don’t give so much youngsters opportunities even in Europe, this is because they’re chasing the league and they have no time for trials with the kids, this has to change. I always support the youth. I think teams are entitled to 8 foreign players, the league organisers should also put something in place to ensure teams play u21 players and the likes. I’m sure they’re thinking of these things and I’m rooting for them to do well. Fingers crossed.

He is about to step on stage for what will be his last show in England, drawing the curtain on a long and illustrious music career defined by boldness, courage, and an unwavering stand with the people. Mr. Rahul Gandhi has a stature across the globe. Now, if you are the Prime Minister of a country like India, inevitably, you have a reach across the globe. But somebody who has not been prime minister yet is the Leader of the Opposition, having that kind of outreach and demand is, in itself, a very significant thing. And I think India should be using it to its own advantage rather than running down any such decision that's taken after great thought and consideration. At any given time, Parliament is important, but it's equally important for Mr. Gandhi as indeed it is for the Prime Minister. But then there are international events that cannot be changed because of the Indian Parliament and other events, beyond a certain point. So, when a decision is finally taken after much thought—for an event that should not be missed—I think for somebody to then raise questions about it is completely uncharitable, unkind and unreasonable. But be that as it may, we're looking at the positives of this visit to Germany. Mr Gandhi is visiting Germany on the invitation of the Progressive Alliance—an important alliance of 117 progressive parties of the world, of which 30 are in power. He has been invited to the Presidium of the Progressive Alliance, and I believe that his contribution there—as it was at the Bharat Summit, where the Progressive Alliance was delighted to meet with him—will be enormous. We are in an uncertain world. A new world order is emerging, and we are not entirely comfortable with some of its directions. Obviously, there are many imponderables that need to be dealt with. Our relationship with Europe and its relationship with the rest of the world—including within Ukraine and Russia—matter enormously. And of course, our relationship with Europe is not just between political parties but also with the cutting-edge industry there. Surely, Rahul ji will have a chance to meet with many of the heads of industry. And what he will bring back for India is something that India cannot overlook. India needs as much participation of investment from the world, including from Europe, as possible.
