She viewed this as far below what they paid other comedians (Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer) and accused the company of racial and gender bias‼️. She publicly called for a boycott‼️. Charlamagne named her Donkey of the Day, arguing she was using real issues of inequality as cover for a personal/business dispute and questioning why she felt she deserved the much higher payouts others received‼️. She came on *The Breakfast Club* in February 2018 specifically to confront him‼️. The interview was tense from the start‼️. She called him by his government name (Lenard), accused him of not doing his homework, not knowing the history of Black entertainers (especially Black women), and sending a message that Black women who demand equality get devalued‼️.
