I love it when Lake Erie gets angry

When I stayed at a motel the night before the total eclipse near Sandusky, Lake Erie was real angry on the backside of a low. I slept with the window open and it was heavenly

Massive downpour yesterday on 425, white out rain, we had to pull over as did many others. When it slowed, drove a couple miles to Saunders Settlement where the ground was dry. Wild weather day, clouds like paintings, active sky, very cool.

That’s why they don’t call it Lake Normal.

Was driving toward Mayville yesterday, and stopped at one of the lighthouses on rte 5. Saw something like this going on, took a film. Beautiful.
