Alt tabbing out of/into a cs game:

guys you're missing the point, I know there's annoying workarounds and solutions (like changing desktop res) but I shouldn't have to do any of this shit, why is this even a THING no other game does this to me, it's unreal

4:3 struggles smh i hate that shit

This worked for me using dual monitors on 4:3 stretched. Now when I open my console or open game settings, I can move my cursor onto my other monitor as if I'm playing on windowed. May need to restart a few times to get it working tho

This game has done this for years. And they wonder why people think @valvesoftware doesn’t care about its users CS is one of the most played games year in and year out. And they still can’t optimize it. At a certain point it’s just neglect. And yall keep paying them to do it.

No joke the best way to handle this is have a resolution hot fix I use when I only play cs but here I’ll link a video if you are interested but it’s not a fix

For those of you that want a fix for this. Go to: Program Files (x86) > Steam > User Date > (Select Steam Profile) > 730 > Local > CFG > cs2_video.txt. Then set "setting.fullscreen_min_on_focus_loss" from 1 to 0 Will stop the annoying black screen/crashes on 4:3 Res'
