The problem is, their objective on October 7 wasn’t to conquer Israel (nobody thought that possible). Their objective was to kill civilians and torture Israeli families by holding hostages. By that metric, they’ve already won. They don’t think like us. Nobody who celebrates October 7 thinks like we do.
