This is a bad comparison because the panels here show a measly six villains targeting Spider-Man’s family directly to lure him in whereas Invincible had to contend with a whole ass 18 psychotic versions of himself running havoc around the entire world just to get at him.

Mark is intentionally written as occasionally selfish in his heroism, hes not meant to be a spider man character or compared to spider man in terms of heroics. Hed lose in that regard but like I said its a different story entirely and invinicble okays around with it well
