Honestly, I’m upset. While performing “Mr. Simple,” I almost teared up. The pain I feel whenever I move made me think, “Can I only dance for a little while longer?” I believe I can dance even in my 50s and 60s. I feel like I could still jump and fly around. But when I actually move, jumping, spinning, sitting and standing quickly, I feel those tiny pains. Your body tells you the truth. It makes me sad, like before my knee surgery when I wanted to move freely but couldn’t. I feel pitiful when I see myself like that. Still, I’ll do my best on stage for you. A concert is about connection. It’s not just me having fun, you need to feel it too. When I see you happy, I become happier. So I realized I need to take better care of myself. Doing a live after the concert feels really nice. I’d like to keep talking like this after shows, answering your questions and sharing my thoughts.
