I love this scene because it's all a performance. Her charm and playfulness and flirtation, she doesn't know how to be anything else. She doesn't know how to be honest. That's what Greg teaches her

There was such romantic and anxiety inducing tension with how Rose laughs at Greg and Greg finally shouts I want to be taken seriously! And then Rose just fully explaining she's not a real person with the heart sinking feeling that Greg is talking to an alien!! Ugh!! I love this!

They were both broken long before they met each other at the same time. Greg being willing to call her out for her bull crap is what attracted her to him. So it’s a case of the fault in their stars I think.

I feel like the problem is that they would have been a wonderful couple. They loved each other and wanted to be good for each other. But being a good couple =/= being a good parent. A kid is a whole new relationship with new responsibilities, and neither of them were ready
