Crying as I type this but fuck it, vulnerable post incoming 🥹 This year so far has been one of the most difficult in my career and to be honest, I have been struggling with a lot of things in and out of work. So to hear all this from Mousey - to have her spend so much time on-stream listening to "La Gremolin Romántica" and praising me like this, is just the best thing I could possibly ask for right now 😭 ironmouse🇵🇷😈💖 you have no idea how much this stream meant to me. I installed a new Visual Studio Code extension to help me write code. But this extension doesn't get in your way. It doesn't try to write code for you. It only gives you hints and recommendations about your code. I like that. Like a second pair of eyes, looking over my shoulder and telling me how I can do things better. The extension is Traycer. You can install it directly from inside Visual Studio Code. It's free forever for anyone working on open-source projects (and if you aren't, you can use it for free until the end of June.) I recorded a super-duper-quick video to show you how this extension works. I know code generation is a huge thing, but I really appreciate tools that help me do what I do better. Thanks to the Traycer team for helping me with the extension and collaborating with me on this post!

2min love the sound of each other's voices and seungmin wrote cinema with a specific sound of lee know's voice in mind 😭😭😭 🐶: to add a bit about "cinema", there's this voice of yours that i really like and that voice stay really loves it too. that old, kind of tickly natural sound you just let out. i wanted to bring that back after a long time. so i wrote a lot while thinking about that. even when asked 3racha for advice, i asked a lot about which direction to pull it 🐶: so it would feel like "does this song and you blend well?" after i finished the song, recorded everything and played it for 3racha they said "did you write this thinking about lee know?" 🐰: back then, when i first heard seungmin's voice, early on, i remember thinking, "nice tone". the way he does it calmly like that, i always really liked listening to it

When making The Departed, Jack Nicholson told Matt Damon, “I never would've made it this far in my career if I wasn't a great fucking writer.” Meaning, he would contribute great ideas to a story through his performance and improvisation. Damon recalls a perfect example of this: “And I'll give you one story - it was my favorite thing that happened on The Departed, was this story about a scene that I was not in, but he (Nicholson) was - it was 1 eighth of a page, and it said Costello - which is the name of his character - ‘Costello executes man kneeling in the marshes.’ Now, most people look at that, and they'll go, ‘All right, it's gonna be one shot - that's gonna be an hour of work, and that's all I'm doing that day, or whatever.’ He looked at that, and he goes, ‘Okay, I can do that, but I think I can make it better.’ And so he's telling me this story. He goes, (in Jack Nicholson’s voice) ‘So what I do is,’… he goes, ‘I come from the Roger Corman School, so I'm not gonna add any time, and I'm not gonna add to your budget. But instead of a man kneeling in the marshes, I make it a woman.’ ...And he goes, ‘So I'm gonna execute a woman, but I'm not gonna be alone. I put Ray (Winston) in the scene with me - and I shoot her in the back of the head like it says in the script. But if you leave the camera rolling, after she falls, I turn to Ray and I say, geez, she fell funny. Now that's a really sinister thing to say. And so I just felt like I had to turn this live on and to really just tell you guys how I felt regarding the T-shirt with the Confederate flag on it. I am aware of the pain that it brought to a lot of people, and especially to my black fans, to the black community. And I know that I should have. I am very responsible for it. But I really wanted to directly tell you guys that it really wasn't my intention, with me knowing the meaning of the flag, the historical significance of it. It really shouldn't have happened, and it really does not reflect who I am as a person. But seeing so many fans being hurt by it, it really hurt me as well. I had no intention knowing the meaning of the flag, and I should have. There are no excuses to that. But I just wanted to promise you guys directly that something like that will never happen again. With me and my whole team, we have made, we have taken steps to make sure that something like that doesn't happen. But I just, and I know that a lot of people have been waiting for me to kind of address this directly. And I've been sitting on this for a while, and I really wanted to get this off my chest. And so I thought today was the right time for me to tell you guys. It really breaks my heart to think that maybe the trust has been broken. But I just wanted to promise you guys directly that something like that will never happen again with me and my whole team we have made, we have taken steps to make sure that something like that doesn't happen, but I just, and I know that a lot of people have been waiting for me to kind of address this directly and I've been sitting on this for a while and I really wanted to get this off my chest and so I thought today was at the right time for me to tell you guys.
