After listening to Murphy I conclude he is one of the most dishonest and hateful politicians. It is likely that Murphy's bogus narratives are primarily responsible for creating the Trump Derangement Syndrome but Americans. He is a typical partisan hack. Although Obama, like Trump, said their primary goal was to deport the worse felons. But Obama deported over 60% without any serious criminal record. Trump likewise also detains illegals that are not serious criminals. In 2014, Senator Chris Murphy expressed the view that President Obama was correct to use executive actions on immigration, which prioritized the deportation of felons and secured the border, but criticized House Republicans for blocking comprehensive reform that made the actions necessary in the first place. Now Murphy blamed Republicans for Biden's rampant influx of illegals. The influx of so many illegals creates a huge problem. How does ICE correctly identify a felon or illegal? Murphy slanders Trump saying he is making up his own laws and ICE is just deporting people Trump doesnt like. But once a detainee proves they are here legally they are released within hours or days. Murphy is just a partisan hack that talks out of both sides of his mouth.

Here's what's going on

What ICE is really doing under Trump is enforcing immigration laws in the same way as previous administrations did when dealing with illegal immigrants. The key difference? It's happening on Trump's watch, so Democrats feel compelled to oppose it at every turn—because, apparently, "orange man bad" is their guiding principle. Why didn't Democrats throw these same fits when Clinton and Obama were deporting record numbers of illegal immigrants? After all, Trump is simply upholding the very laws that were in place and enforced during those presidencies. Instead, all Democrats seem to be doing now is spreading blatant lies and indoctrinating people, gaslighting liberals into believing in a distorted reality that doesn't match the facts. It's frustrating how this partisan hypocrisy is twisting minds and dividing the country over policies that were once bipartisan.

Let's look at the evidence! The officer was standing to the right & front of the car filming Renee's wife who was taunting him. When Renee put the car in reverse while wheels pointed left, the car pivoted right placing the officer directly in front of the car. The officer did not break protocol and step in front of the car as the liars try to spin. The officer was not trying to escalate the incident! Renee then straightened out her wheels and accelerated forward towards the officer, at which point he drew his gun and she hit him. The bullet hole in the windshield suggests the first shot happened as the car accelerated directly towards him before he could get out of the way. Shots from the side are disturbing but it is part of police training. Police are trained to aim for "center mass" because it increases the likelihood of actually hitting the target under high stress and stopping the threat quickly. Because a single shot (even a well-placed one) may not immediately incapacitate a determined or impaired individual, officers are trained to continue firing until the person is no longer a threat. After hitting the officer Renee turned her wheels further right to drive away. Was she now a threat to other ICE officers? I doubt her intent was to run him over but we can only speculate about her intent. Was she fleeing from the officer who told her to get out of the car? Or fleeing because she hit an officer, or because her wife was telling her to DRIVE! baby DRIVE! But clearly she had no respect for ICE and clearly the officer felt threatened. Any investigation will prove self defense. All Renee had to do was get out of the car as told. The wife is really the cause of this whole tragedy!

ICE has arrested like over 2000 criminals there…. In the 2025 case Noem v. Vasquez Perdomo, the Supreme Court (6-3, shadow docket stay) allowed ICE agents to consider race/ethnicity as a relevant factor—along with others like language, accent, location, or job type—in forming reasonable suspicion for brief immigration stops and questioning. Race alone is insufficient.
