This can go one of two ways. A shallow imitation of the Hangman/Punk storyline. A very blatant, almost tongue-in-cheek, reboot of that feud, but done the way Punk originally wanted it to play out before he had issues with Hangman.

You can see how much more it affected Punk when Hangman said it. And that was proper beef. He's just looking at Rollins like "Yep, I've been here before man, just let me talk." I'm sure the matches will be great but man...stop rehashing promos.

It's a huge difference : punk was born in WWE .... Punk was just passing through AEW and now he's back in WWE when he shouldn't have never left

Except here it makes sense and it was planned. Seth didn't go on business for himself like Hangman did which lit the fire for the media scrum situation. There's levels here
