She joined the peaceful march in Brighton this past weekend to help raise awareness and because of actions by people like sitting Labour Councillor Bella Sankey the day turned nasty, resulting in Siobhan being knocked to the floor by police. She told Dan Wootton on today’s OUTSPOKEN that Sankey should hang her head in shame. As should many of her Labour colleagues.

Hearing mother and grandmother Siobhan Whyte speak this morning was a gut-punch. She said I was one of the only politicians who actually listened. No family should ever have to fight this hard just to be heard. And I’m afraid Siobhan is right — what happened to her daughter, Rhiannon Skye Whyte, will happen again in Britain. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
