I might be wrong, but I don't think I'm wrong. I think before video was subordinated to life and so actually capture it. But I think it reflexivity changed it and normal life is subordinated to video, even if no one is filming. Something was lost.

Non-stop losing my mind over this video. I know they're actors but I don't think they are *that* good. I don't recall anyone being this light, this unselfconscious. I've been around dancers now (not actors) and normies and everyone is so aware of cameras. I feel smth was lost.

It's like the POV of the camera has been not only internalised but made primary, like we're always "on" EVEN IF THERE'S NO CAMERA. Performance (doing) over presence, over BEING, look at TPOT's dictum: "You can just do things". How about you can just BE!?!?!!?

You're not wrong. When someone was filming back then you knew it would probably never be watched and would probably exist as a single tape that needed to be present to be played for anyone. An embarrassing or damning video couldn’t fly around the world in a matter of hours

really, really can’t wait!!! 🐻 earlier, i was checking that video since you all already know about it. it’s the video i filmed when i met critic kim youngdae, and i wanted to review it to see if i said anything wrong. while doing that, i ended up thinking a lot about my album. i think i talked about it pretty well, especially things about music that i couldn’t really talk about before, or thoughts i had in the past. the video is quite long, but if you watch it even in parts, i think you’ll be able to understand my thoughts better, so i think that would be nice 🩷

250330 Yuju's Ending Ment 🐶 when i'm on stage, i usually try to capture at least one more Buddy in my eyes. But this time, i think i tried to capture the members in my eyes a bit more. When i was dancing, i saw the members' backs, and their backs were still the same as the ones i saw 10 years ago. And i think it was the greatest luck in my life that i was so lucky to become a singer and got to sing GFriend's song. When we started this 10th anniversary project, i thought it would be a time to look back on the past, but as i did it, i think my thoughts changed a lil bit. I think while looking back on the past, it will also be a picture that continues to move forward. Don't remember it as a memory, but think of it nicely that we will continue to move forward together. And now, as i grow older, i've become more careful about promises, so i'm a bit careful saying things like this, but still, let's meet again someday. Thank you so much Buddy
