I might have accidentally built a font editor.

It derives the strokes from a base font (Inter) and builds parameters for all the properties. You can edit all the glyphs with a specific property at the same time or edit any property on a single glyph

one of my favorite fonts (parabole display) was created by a student who flipped the counter and stems of the non-display typeface. i wonder if this tool could help me try that too :)

Aah the editing controls are cool. Nice combo of some specific glyphs plugins. Does it also have something for drawing paths or always based of existing contours?

Right now you can only edit existing glyphs. I think my approach is this is for people who don't want to make a font from scratch.

It’s not how font editors normally work, but it’s not a font editor (IMO). It’s a font *customiser*. It’s fascinating to see it go from “here are the strokes” to “strokes have these parameters”. How does it derive those parameters? (Could potentially be a good kerning tool?)

You'd be surprised - it's approaching a full fledged editor but the idea is that you shouldn't need to start from scratch. It builds the glyphs based on recipes which use parameters.

I imagine that the remixer can’t expose parameters that aren’t built into the file? E.g. you can’t give Inter serifs or choose between bracketed/unbracketed, etc. (Unless…?)

Totally can - working on adding serifs next to see how it'll feel. But yeah, it has to be built into the recipe for each glyph.
