I miss coils

coils had a vibe thats lost in the newer expansions raids i just cant explain it It feels like a *battle* you know? like the tension

I think coils never having a "normal" mode and making us go head first into unknown territory made the tension so much better. Also with how intertwined it's story is with ARR and 1.0. Still the raid with the only voiced cutscene outside of msq in the game if i recall

also like the scale of the areas and how they're all connected, rather than just being a circle area you're teleported into descending down to the bottom so cool..

nothing will ever hit quite like coil ever again. I would kill to play ARR again. there was something unique about how the systems in that game interacted with each other despite the jank.
