I miss ECW!

The ECW camera work is criminally underrated. Sometimes shaky, sometimes kinetic, it fit perfectly.

I was in elementary school at the time, stayed by my grandmother's for the weekend. Couldn't sleep was going through the tv channels. About 2 am stumbled upon ECW on some low level NYC local broadcast channel we got in Jersey. Changed the way I looked at pro wrestling forever.

Awesome/ Tanaka, RVD/Lynn, Mysterio, Psicosis… they put on same unbelievable matches.

From the wrestlers/wrestling,to the ring, to the crowd, to the announcing to the grimy video quality. Perfect.

The fact that Spike Dudley doesn’t have CTE and isn’t in a wheel chair is so crazy to me

Even with all the wild hardcore stuff. There was also some great wrestling matches as well. Eddie Guerrero & Dean Malenko had some of the best bouts there.
