I miss her so much 🫩✌️

Tbh, gets! Though Midnights & TTPD were great for me too. My take on this is that for any artist/writer, sometimes their art just won’t resonate with us or be up to par to our own standards and that’s okay. Luckily for me, she loves making music, and as always, I’ll be tuned in!!

Not to rehash what we already spoke about, but i liked midnights! The dip started in TTPD imho (tho i get what you mean w/ how TTPD felt like a conduit through w/c you were able to articulate feelings you never seemed to have the words for)

@jehielkarsten imo, ttpd is a great album, it just has a lot of songs… i just wish she filtered them. But! Same opinion with @jehielkarsten TLOAS isn’t for us to get, and thats okay

@jehielkarsten Ako naman, my struggle w/ TLOAS isn’t so much my inability to find myself in the audience to which the project is speaking, but parang when assessed against its own intentions and i guess the virtuosity of her past projects, it feels objectively mediocre talaga 😭✌️

@celocreyes valid take naman!! it’s funny lang sometimes to see “i miss her” tweets on the tl bc that same woman released ‘ME!’ ahenbwbshsbs i think ppl have a tendency to forget the range of types of songs she puts out. but anyway, going back to your first QRT, i love that song sm too 😭

@celocreyes I actually don’t hate ME! Skhdjdksks but gets naman na exile isn’t her default for everything, i guess what i’m saying is that it’s been too long since she’s offered anything on that caliber.

Midnights was also fun! Not on the same level as folklore and evermore, but okay pa. After that, para siyang inabduct at pinalitan ng clone idk 😭

I feel like at this point she’s just so full of herself that she no longer sees criticisms as constructive but instead a personal attack on her. Like despite all her success she’s still playing the victim. This woman needs a reality check because her music post TTPD sucks ass

@jedmarcueto No i feel like there’s still a lot more juice, she just needs to take a break and actually take in more art tbh. Take inspiration from the beauty of the world etc etc

I remember hating this album sooo much when it was released HAHAHA. But just like diesel, i came to love it after year or two. Late appreciation! There’s also something about TLOAS that I cannot connect with. Maybe because I’m not a showgirl? hakhakhak.

Whaaaaat i loved his album right off the bat! This and Red to me are her magnum opuses.
