I need the best DOOM minds on this. What is causing the random ability to quick swap cancel the SSG shot? It's not shield bash, or at least not exclusively.

anecdotal evidence but it seems the game *does* have a buffer queue for weapon swaps/other actions but it's either bugged or too short. Sometimes the shield allows for quickswaps and other times it stalls weapon switching entirely for me. dunno if it can be abused that much tho

there's a rotation i've been spreading, but people think i'm lying. Do this combo Shield throw - SSG - rocket - impaler rince and repeat. that's quick swap for you. it might work with other weapons.

Don't know, sometimes work, sometimes don't Also Parrys when you put the low window... Sometimes the parry didn't register at all and I know i did the same timing

We're figuring it out. But the parry thing, that's something the devs need time to figure out cause of the spam protection. Side effect of having block and parry as the same button in a fast action game like this.

I use the same color for the parry attack. I think it looks cooler than the default green.

It's nice but it mixes a lot with the cacodemon
