You don’t find a 2x12 in walls that are not load bearing.

all you commentators watching on mute? he clearly says the big board is part of an old, now removed staircase...

Fucking idiot removed the load bearing sheet rock.

Those boards he's removed appear to be part of a load-bearing wall. That is not a wise decision. This person has no business doing this DIY, could very well be compromising the structural integrity of their home.

No way that was load bearing. It was part of a wall that held kitchen cabinets. Removing the diagonal brace is a different story, as it keeps the wall and attached ceiling from racking.

Nicely done…you just removed the nailer supports for your staircase. I’m sure they were there just for looks!

Did my guy just cut a stair stringer?

y depues pregunta por que se callo la casa XD

I wonder what that 2x12 was for?

The guy's wife:

umm the large beam you cut out was part of what?

architect & engineer place those boards and Milton decides he'll just cut them out to build a cringe spice rack? *ya, I know the boards aren't "load bearing" construction honks. yes, the 2X12 is there to prevent racking. lol

show me an idiot without saying he's an idiot. He removed bracing piece from his house stability system. Well done.

I don't know anything about construction and load bearing anything but wtf you putting mass olive oil in a clear container; doesn't that just make it go rancid faster?

so much excess wood in houses now..

I'm sure that 2x12 wind brace was just in the wall for the hell of it... Rip it out!

The worst part about stuff like this is he's going to sell this house and not be the one that has to deal with the consequences of this stupid action.

my house isnt made of cardboard

Untill you discover that was a bearing wall, and your roof is sagging.

You want your house to fall down?

The olive oil tap had me reaching for a saw, and the load-bearing wall comments had me putting it right back 😭

Fingers getting real close to that table saw blade

I hope that is not a load bearing wall...

Load bearing paprika. Nice

HART tools? Explains it all 😂

It was part of the OLD staircase. Listen w your ears

Wtf is going to wipe all those surfaces for dust?

At least you have a pocket hole jig…that fixes everything! 🤡🤡🤡

Don't need that load bearing wall..!🥴🤣

the comments are all structural engineers now and honestly thats the most accurate thing about this whole post

american houses i suppose ? weak structure

Tom is not happy with it.

Isn’t it his pantry as well?

“Babe I made you shelves for all those useless spices you never use”

He's Retarded
