Watched it, actors are great, speeches feel real, nice music and sound. But historical accuracy is thrown out of the window in the name of constantly saying "mussolini bad", all events are shown like if he just kept getting lucky, instead of being planned political moves

Artistically it’s pretty good but it’s completely warped and manipulated to make fascism look as evil and terrible as possible while also not so subtly calling Trump a fascist

It's well-shot but it also is made by people with fundamentally ZERO understanding of what fascism preaches, why it occurs, or what it even IS. Fascism did not come about for lack of opposition, but because it was the only presented alternative to a situation people hated!

this one is peak. i find it cool how you can see the slow transition of fascism; "fascism is for the wronged veterans" to "fascism is to fight against communism" to "fascism is to establish a new state" to "fascism is to adore the duce"
