Seems to be more reliable than a lot of them just taking the shot off a watch screen which usually doesn’t scan for some reason 👍 good work!

Makes beautiful QR codes but does it have the built-in redundancies that regular QR codes have, or does the minimal design take those away? (I've just watched Veritasium's video on QR codes and this got me thinking about it!)

I built a unicorn pet app for my niece: - Worked with Replit Agent to build it out - Scanned a QR code to download and test on my phone - One click to send to App Store Connect for review - A couple submissions later, it's live in the App Store! 🙌 I didn't write a single line of code! Just described what I wanted to Agent. Amazing! 😅 Go build something!! 👇

I built a mobile app to check Paddle revenue (because they don't have one): 👉 - Use your Paddle API key (read-only and scoped) - Live data with beautiful and useful graphs built with native Swift UI. - Multi-account supported, unified revenue metrics. - Data stay on device, no server (api requests are sent directly from your phone) - Home widgets - I made it free to download on App Store (once it's approved) - Buy the source code for $19 and customize it however you want (save 5hrs of prompting if you try to do it yourself). Some interesting facts about this side project: - I vibe coded with 100% claude code remotely on my Mac Mini (with my AI assistant setup) in less than 24 hours. - I have read 0 line of code in this project and never opened Xcode myself. - My AI assistant designed the app with GPT Image 2, built the app with Swift UI, test it on simulator (via screenshots), send the test build to TestFlight for me to test, and invited me to the app store connect account so I can test on my phone, then the AI submitted the app to App Store and currently waiting for approval. - For the website, I ask it to come up with a domain name, I bought it via manually and give it access via Cloudflare API, the AI design and create a static website with GitHub, test it with lighthouse CLI, deploy via GitHub pages, config the domain DNS, deploy the website. - Then I sign up an account with Polar payment, create an API key and ask the AI to setup a store, add payment, link with the account, and add the payment to the website. The entire process happened in the last 24 hours with me only talking to the AI via Telegram. This is such a fun side project not only to create an app that I wish exists, but also to push the limit of what I can use AI for, and so far I'm very impressed. I'll create so much more apps! It feels like I have unlocked a super power.

I didn’t learn mobile dev, I still shipped an app. Prompt I used: "Build me a task management app with due dates, priorities, and notifications." Replit ⠕ built it automatically → live phone preview via QR → full-stack handled: frontend, backend, database, auth, AI, connectors → App Store in 3 clicks. The hardest parts just disappeared.

After months of stealth work I’d like to finally introduce my new app to the #ICPFamily! This app lets any user create a personal asset canister that only they own using just a wallet. It also provides a file explorer in the browser to let users upload and manage their files on chain. Features: • Code-free autonomous canister creation. • Familiar file explorer interface. • Drag and drop file upload. • Supports Plug, Stoic, and NFID. • Works on mobile with NFID. The app is currently in a whitelisted beta as I finish up testing but I’m happy to allow anyone early access. There are a lot of features still on the way including share via QR-code, named canisters, and even automatic cycles top-up. This app was meant for everyone to be able to use so I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts, feedback, and feature requests. I think I discovered the cheapest way to code with AI 😁 I tried GLM 4.5 on Claude Code and I'm really amazed how good this model is! I usually test with my nextjs crm app benchmark so I asked it to do that. Prompt "create a nextjs app which is a crm app. use sqlite for the database and use api routes to manage connecting to the database from the frontend" My observations - Generation feels like Sonnet 4 intelligence - Speed is great - It used create-next-app so it bootstrapped nextjs v15.5.2 - It created a sqlite database and used Prisma ORM and helped me easily add seed data - I needed a few prompts to iron out minor issues but all's good. It didn't struggle or got stuck. - Spent $0.50 for this app. Could be way cheaper with the Z.ai sub plans After trying, I can say GLM 4.5 model is up there as the best open source model for coding. Will continue using it and update here. So far so good! P.S. DM me if you want my referral link, otherwise just check Not dropping the link here so it doesn’t look like I’m hyping it. The City of Seattle is spending $465,000 for a 1 year pilot program for 4 new Throne Labs public toilets That’s $116,250 per toilet, per year. Just for the equivalent of essentially a porta potty with a sink They are doing this ahead of next month's FIFA World Cup 2026 I look it up and found these toilets do capture some of your personal information To use it you must - Scan QR Code: It auto-opens your messaging app with a pre-filled text. Just hit send, and the door unlocks (It gets your number) - Text the word “Throne” to their number, then reply with the unit code shown near the door. (It gets your number) - Download their app The units are free for public use, solar-powered with onboard water/waste tanks, have a 10-minute time limit, automatic door unlock for safety, and app/QR/tap access $465,000 for 4 toilers is such an insane waste of money

The Council is aware that a bogus QR sticker is being placed on some machines, bringing the user to a fraudulent website which requests credit card details and other personal data. This has been reported to An Garda Siochána. Fingal County Council is advising motorists not to scan any QR codes or bar codes that may appear on Pay and Display machines. Instead, download the genuine parking app Payzone in use directly from your phones app store and use this, or pay directly by card or cash where available.

This weekend, I explored a mobile game idea with my kids (they suggested a mobile pokemon-like game) so I had them coming up with ideas for the creatures and I try to visualise them with ChatGPT Images 2.0 and vibe coded a small prototype on Cursor to play around with. The art direction of the creatures are in vinyl toy matte style so it has this toy-like aesthetic quality that I quite like! For a mobile app/game, I went with Expo + React Native to create this mobile app so that I have one code-base for both Android and iOS. So far I'm pretty impressed with Expo's live mobile app preview feature! Being able to easily preview the mobile app on my phone in seconds is a big plus.
