I had some old friends over last night for an Idiocracy watch party (available on Hulu) and I highly recommend you do the same. It was farce when it premiered in 2006, but it turned out to be prophecy.

Need a last minute holiday gift for your cat? I bet they’d enjoy some dried pasta! Storytime: The best part about this video was when I went to the supermarket to purchase the pasta. I was looking for a specific size and an employee was restocking the shelves. He asked if I needed something in particular and I said I needed to find the right shape. He gave me a box and said “these are the best ones”. I told him, “Oh no no, I don’t intend to eat them. This shape’s just for my cats to play with”. He laughed and said it was the first time he heard anyone say that. 😹 #giftidea #giftsforcats #theoreocat

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got in my Jiu-Jitsu journey… When I was a blue belt juvenile, some of my training partners kept saying I was using too much strength. In my mind, I didn’t think I was. My instructor came to talk to me and asked, “Bernardo, are you using too much strength?” I said, “I guess so, since everyone is saying it.” Then he asked, “Are you getting tired?” I told him, “No, I have good cardio and I have been training and lifting a lot.” He looked at me and said, “Then keep using your strength.” That advice stayed with me forever. For me, the main lesson is simple. In Jiu-Jitsu, the right thing is whatever works for you. If you are doing something and it works, do not let anyone tell you it is wrong or that you should change it. Whatever works is the right way. What are your thoughts?

Did so many layers to this because I wanted it to sound like an entire trumpet section playing it (same part just down an octave and up an octave). It came out incredible. 🎺 Although Twitter compresses the videos, I have the HQ footage.

So you all guessed wrong! LOL. I bought an M240i! I was also duped when I saw the car under the covers. It definitely looked like an M2 but demonstrates just how aggressive the lines are on this car. A car cover accentuates them. 0-60 in 3.8... she's absolutely rapid. A great all-rounder and possibly the best bang for buck car in BMW's lineup today. This is the first car I've owned since 2013 when my Focus RS was stolen. Since then I've travelled on foot, train or driven other people's cars. It's certainly kept me fit as in the 2 months I've had this car I've already gained weight! If anyone saw my credit score post you will know that I wasn't eligible to get finance having been refused finance last year on a car. When I bought this I still had defaults and a low score. Alhamdulillah I was able to buy it outright. Zero finance. A major accomplishment. This is all thanks to levelling up my trading massively in the last few years. I've totally changed my life. True story - I was sat in this car in the Sytner BMW showroom when it was first launched around 3 years ago dreaming of 1 day being able to own 1. My mum said if I saved up I could probably buy one in 7 years. I was a struggling trader still working on gathering my data and improving my edge. If you're down in the dumps and it looks like life isn't getting any better and won't improve it can and it will. But you've got to make that breakthrough change. I was at my lowest of lows for over 10 years trying to make it work. I was going to become successful trading or die trying. There was no plan B. I want to tell you that if you make some drastic changes you can turn your life around and pretty quickly too. With the access to capital we now all have it's definitely possible. Countless people are now changing their lives and improving their prospects. Like I've said before this is the golden era for retail traders. I firmly believe it still is. The rest is history.

🚨 The first “critical” intervention we’ve had on FSD v14 (in fact, it’s the first since we picked up the new Model Y on 8/30) The oncoming car has no stop sign. I stopped the car, but either way, it wasn’t a very “close” event, but still something that needed to be intervened. I didn’t feel as if it was a situation that I wanted the car to work itself through. I felt this was an instance when it was time to take any chance of a collision out of the question. I didn’t ever feel like one was going to happen because I knew I could stop at any time. We’ve put about 3,000 miles on the car since picking it up, a majority of those on FSD. For this to be the first real mistake it’s made, it’s not totally upsetting, but still a reminder that YOU as the driver are responsible.
