However I have zero compassion, love or any "warmth" or forgiveness toward my wife's son-in-law of whom: 1) Never paid back at least $1200 that I loaned him 2) Never paid $500 he owed an employee and then let him go or employee quit. 3) Never paid back another unknown-named person that loaned him $ 4) Has not paid back his OWN GRANDMOTHER $5000 she loaned him to get his current house 5) Had to pay IRS 20K to get that house because he does not file income tax returns even though he has a lucrative construction business 6) Employs illegal aliens !!! I'm tempted to all ICE on this scumbag but I know everyone will know who did it and the karma (and my wife) will come down hard. Not worth it. Sorry for the venting.

Although this is beautiful it’s unrealistic because COMPASSION does not address EVIL INTENT and that compassion can quickly become COMPASSIONATE ENABLING. By all means be as compassionate as you can but RESPECT the true NATURE of the SITUATION

This is really profound. Someone bumps into you and you are carrying kindness and compassion, you respond in that way. If you are carrying hate you get mad. I usually apologize. I even apologize to the wall if I bump into it. It isn't healthy but I am working on it.
