I never arrested anyone who was drink driving

You know who else gets their life ruined? People like my aunt her husband and their two children died trapped in a burning car that was hit head on by a drunk driver. At least he saved a drunk from losing his license.

Thank fuck there's not many of his type left, zero sympathy for anyone drink driving.

Not a fair man, a corrupt man, people have a choice not to get behind the wheel whether officers or not. I'd rather have been hated by everyone, than to let someone off with offences like this. We have laws for a reason and police are there to enforce them. This isn't discretion

The drunk driver should’ve thought about losing their job, family etc before deciding to get behind the wheel. No sympathy for them. More arrested and charged the better.

Amazing how many people think being drunk in control of a lethal weapon is acceptable just because “everyone does it” or “they’ll lose their job”. This bloke is a relic and should have been sacked.
