I know a lady who flew into Jomsom. That’s even more dangerous than Lukla. Also, be wary of Nepalese aviation standards. I recall a terrible accident where both engines were shut down inadvertently on an ATR72 on approach into Paro! Yikes.

Lived in Nepal 56 years ago for four years as Agricultural missionary. Flew there in a turbo charged Cessna and was a grass strip then with no communication. Did a ten day walk to mt Everest base camp.

Goals right there.

MU-2 could pull it off. 40 deg full wing flap gets stuff done! Kind of weird though to take off a little nose down.
