Idc it was authentic bc we acting like shit like this don’t happen in real life

“GHETTO”- who let this on the cartoon network omg

This show was incredibly adult themed for a kids show tbh.

an “ice” cube taking Alejandro away is insane 😭😭😭

Heather DEFINITELY wanted to say the hard R😭

One time Duncan said “why is Chef dressed like a transgender troll” THIS SHIT WOULD NOT FLY IN 2026

Thats not racist thats just real when cartoons were peak

And the sexism jokes as well. They flew over my head when I was a kid. I think I was slow.

To be fair it was a 2000s Canadian kids show😭

Even though I’ll never forget heather being racist, character wise she actually got better as the seasons went on. I always hated the stereotype leshawna was even tho that was the point of the entire cast.

Total drama and regular show were really supposes to be for adults. But somehow made their way to Cartoon network.

Well the whole show is based on stereotyping 😅

“Butt cheeks tighter than a weave”😭😭😭😭

iirc cartoon network toned some of it down so it wasn't as obvious

Every character in the show is a stereotype, that’s the point.

alpha bitch Heather just being an alpha bitch.

That’s kinda the point of total drama It’s meant to be way more adult than every show on Cartoon Network Well it was until CN ruined it

Even as a kid I fet Leshana's entire characterization was highkey disrespectful even though i still felt deeply represented by her at the same exact time

I always struggled to figure out if the show was racist or if the satire was just that good! Even the way leshawna was eliminated… but I then I concluded that it was kinda racist because a good satire would have pointed out how ridiculous her portrayal was too

I never really noticed, but Justin reminds me a like Zyzz.

nah show leshawnas responses tho because she was eating them up

Because it was authentic, it was a show made for teens that even parents can enjoy. It wasn't generic and safe, it was real life.

Oh no! You mean to tell me that the character whose whole purpose is to be a nasty bitch to everyone says a bunch of mean words to a black woman? NOOOO WAY.

When Leshawna turned Lindsay and Beth against heather was so satisfying lol

2000s Canadian Cartoons were so unhinged, and I love it.

The show wouldn't be a parody of reality TV if i didnt have a lil bit of racism in it.

No for reaal I grew up on this, rewatched it and everything. But since I could SEE how they treated her throughout the show I could tell something was going on this girl shouldve won😭

The whole point was to mimic teenagers as well as terrible reality tv. It honestly did a really good job

And Heather fried Leshawnda 😂

literally called total drama island

its def a product of its time and not in a good aay

What was everyone’s deal with the black women in the show( I forgot her name)

Who was the target demographic? Not kids right? And who makes a cartoon about MTV reality shows? Epstein empire behavior
