It doesn’t matter who likes you or doesn’t like you. What truly matters is if you like yourself. I love myself. I have worked hard to truly love myself inside and out. That shows. It shines from the inside. It shows by how I dress, take care of myself and how I treat others. I treat people how I want to be treated. I live my life on my terms. And I am having the actual time of my life!

Today I was going for a beach walk when I came across this intersection… For some reason, I stopped and stood there for a while reflecting. It reminded me of something we recite every single day in Surah Al-Fātiḥah: “Guide us to the Straight Path.” In life, we face so many crossroads. Thousands of choices that shape who we become. Through Islam, Allah gives us a clear guide. A path that keeps us balanced, grounded, and protected. And every time we pray, we’re reminded to return to that Straight Path. Because Allah knows what’s best for us, and He knows that His path is the easiest, safest, and most peaceful way of life. ❤️

I have to pinch myself daily that this is now my life…. 🐶❤️ I’d sat at my desk for years hating every single minute… 😞 I was 55 at the time and one day I decided enough was enough and I left a job I’d done for 25 years… It was THE best decision I ever made. 🙂

#AGTG After much thought, prayer, and countless years of hard work, I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Temple Football !! First and foremost, I want to thank God for the opportunities and the strength He’s given me. I wouldn’t be here without Him leading me down this path. There has been many times where this seemed impossible, but through my trust in Jesus I have made it to this point. Thank you to my family for the endless support, love, and sacrifices. One of the best decisions I’ve made is getting back in the gym. I lifted for 14 years: from the time I was 14 until 28. When my daughter died, I spent the next 10 years drinking, eating & numbing myself. Two years ago, I made the commitment to get back in shape. Now, instead of spending my Friday night drinking whiskey until I pass out, I’m spending it lifting with my 16-year-old. The point is - go lift. It’s never too late. And it makes life better. Life won’t get better until YOU make it better

It’s 𝕏 payday. The day the world’s best creators get paid for doing what they love. I now make more $ than I did during my 8 years at Apple. But to be honest, the $ is only small part of it. Today, I’m not tied to a desk. I don’t have a boss watching over me. No one is telling me where to be, what to work on, what to say, or what my day/life should look like. I wake up, bet on myself everyday, create and share my thoughts on what I believe in, and am doing something that really belongs to me. There is a MASSIVE premium on that kind of freedom that $ can’t buy. Once you experience it, it’s impossible to go back. The fulfillment and ownership of my own time cannot be replaced. I still remember everyone who told me I was stupid for wasting my time on 𝕏. “Get a real job.” “Those aren’t your real friends.” “No one cares what you post.” “Social media isn’t a career.” “You’ll never make real $ doing that.” “You just ride Elon’s dick.” “What you do isn’t even exciting.” “It won’t last.” Now all of those same people ask me how they can do it too. It’s really funny how betting on yourself looks foolish right up until it finally works. I built this life by showing up every single day when nobody believed in me and refusing to quit when it would have been easier to go back to Apple. I’m my own boss now. And I’m never handing that freedom back. 𝕏 is the place to be.
