ROSENBERG: Russians particularly furious with Europe. When you listen to Russian officials, read Russian papers, they're spitting blood about Europe and European support for Ukraine. Russians surprised that even though America reduced its support for Ukraine, war hasn't ended and Ukraine has been able to carry on. As far as the Kremlin is concerned, it's Europe that is prolonging the war in Ukraine. You know, if pesky Europe wasn't there supporting Ukraine, then war would end much more quickly. We don't know what lies ahead. Certainly, the last few weeks have been difficult for Russian army and Ukraine seems to have stabilized the frontline. But, judging by what is being said, even in the state media here, there's a disappointment that this war continues, and that Russia hasn't secured victory yet.

Russians have persuaded many Americans that supporting Ukraine means supporting the Forever Foreign War Machine. No! Supporting Ukraine means STOPPING the Russian War Machine. Trump began to use this terminology last month. It's great that Zelenskyy has now embraced it. It's much more powerful than simply saying "Stop the Killing," which treats the war as some kind of natural disaster. It shows that we can and must DEFEAT Russia, B/C of its War Machine.
