I never understood popcorn ceilings

It cut down on sound/echos in the home.

I lived in a house years ago that had them and had never heard of them before that. I thought something was wrong with the ceiling 😂

i got a mouthful trying to kill a spider on the ceiling, missed the spider had to burn the house down.
