I never understood why these aren’t more common in the states. In other countries I’ve been to they are more common or the standard. I feel the cut back on toilet paper and they really do leave you with a fresh out of the shower feeling, it’s a win...

When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.

I tried to tell y’all how it works when I’m on the beach or in a tourists trap. I see these guys walking around with icy drinks and since everything else in the country was cheaper than they are here I would assume his drinks would be too. These guys will come by and even take your “order” if I don’t see something I want, he will say he can make it for me. These women fell for this and ordered 3 drinks from him. One of the ladies was so thirsty she immediately started drinking it until he told them they owed him $75. Mind you these are adult drinks, the cups look to be a decent size so is it worth it or are they just tripping out? I am on the fence with this one, if it’s clean and good quality, I may say this is a fair price but the only one I’m questioning is the one who tried to give it back after she already drank out of it. Rarely will I side with a street merchant because I feel like they’ve ripped me off quite a few times. But I think his price is valid for this. I’ve paid close to the same price for much less when I was at the beach. Most of the time I can tell they are well drinks that they tell me are too shelf. Many people can’t tell the difference but I can. I only drink certain brands and I am very used to what they taste like. This kind of interaction is why I now only buy from restaurants and bars like I mentioned before. I am not going to get into an argument with someone over something I ordered but failed to check the price first. That old saying, “if you have to ask them you can’t afford it.” That doesn’t apply here because if I have to ask then it means they should have listed the price up front.

Can We Flush Tissue Paper or Napkins in Toilets? The recent Air India toilet clogging incident has brought us international embarrassment. A Delhi-bound Air India flight had to return to Chicago after two hours because 8 out of 12 toilets got blocked. This happened because some passengers flushed plastic bags, sanitary napkins, and other non-disposable items into the toilet. In India, we are more accustomed to using water for cleaning, unlike in Western countries where toilet paper is commonly used due to the cold climate. Even though we now use Western-style toilets, many of us still prefer washing with water; either with a bucket or a faucet. One key difference between Indian and Western toilets is that Western-style toilets are meant to remain dry. Wet toilet seats are considered unhygienic and unpleasant, especially in Western cultures. Unfortunately, some men urinate without lifting the seat, making matters worse. With changing habits, people have started using toilet paper to dry themselves after washing. However, many are unsure about how to dispose of it properly. Some throw it in the waste bin, which is unpleasant for the next user and inconvenient for the person who cleans the toilet. The correct way to dispose of toilet paper is by flushing it, as it is designed to dissolve in water within 20-30 seconds. However, not everyone knows the difference between toilet paper and tissue paper, paper napkins, or wet wipes. These items, along with sanitary napkins, should never be flushed. Unlike toilet paper, they do not dissolve easily and can clog the drainage system. Unfortunately, some passengers on the Air India flight made this mistake, leading to a major disruption. As a society, we learn quickly when things are explained well. This is our humble effort to clarify why only toilet paper should be flushed while everything else should be disposed of in a bin. Please share this video message with your friends and family to raise awareness. Together, we can prevent such incidents and ensure our toilets remain clean and functional.

“breakdown.” OUT NOW!!! 🖤 I wrote this song because it’s been the hardest year for me mentally. I feel myself changing and throughout my life I’ve never felt good enough, it’s just been the main thing that on the one hand has driven me forward but on the other, has eaten me up. For as long as I can remember I have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to me fight the darkness that I inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to allow it to exist and to deal with it as a constant. A lot of us can feel like our lives are insignificant. We can feel like we have no purpose, so what is there to live for? The inexplicable darkness inside our heads can consume us. It can make it hard to get out of bed in the morning, force us to cancel plans, or back out of opportunities last minute. This song was written as a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and that the world is so much bigger than me. In the past my art has been about highlighting the pain and letting the world know that it is there, in order to relate to others but now I want to beat it. This song is a gateway to where my new music is heading. Embracing the light, realising what’s beautiful in the world and fighting the darkness - not wallowing in it. It’s about getting out of your head and noticing the world around you, the things and people. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time and life potential. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. You’re probably living more than you think.

Friday confession - this has been one of the toughest years of my life for me. For a lot of reasons. Personal & business. Mental & physical. I try my best to hide it, but I’ve been depressed a lot and can’t figure it out. I think a lot of people can relate. I have so, so much to be grateful for, and realize how blessed I am, but it’s weird because I almost feel guilty at the same time. Add to it the self loathing for not being happy about how great I know I have it, and it’s a real mess. I’ve done and experienced all these amazing things this year- openings, trips, parties, with family and friends, and have barely posted anything. I’ve felt this dichotomy between how I actually feel, and how it would “appear I feel”, and that phoniness has deterred me. If that makes sense? As lame as it might sound, I listened to Matthew Mcconaghy on Theo Vons podcast yesterday and what he said in this part, couldn’t have possibly resonated more with me. So since it clicked for me, I thought it will probably click for a lot of other people dealing with the same. I think the main takeaway is none of this stuff matters. Social media is a facade. You can pretend to be anything you want, and it’s all for the validation of a bunch of strangers and people you’ll never even know in real life. What matters is enjoying the actual moments, really soaking them in, being present, with the ones who do matter. At least that’s what I got from it, so that’s what I’m taking away from it. my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

At first, I didn’t understand the character because she’s very dynamic and has so many different sides. You can play her in a way that makes people see her as a bad person, but you can also explain her to the audience and make them sympathize with her. So I kept going back and forth. I thought, “I probably won’t be able to do this.” Then I said, “No, it’s impossible.” After that, Ms. Gül told me, “Read it again and come back.” So I worked on the character a little more, started enjoying it, and thought, “This could be something crazy too.” I felt an inner challenge like motivation. Then I kept working on her and trying to understand the character. Eventually, I said, “Okay, she’s a perfect fit for me. This is crazy.” What I loved most was that she’s crazy, because whenever I choose a role, I always look for something different. I like choosing different colors, so to speak. I’m also a very energetic person, and this role matches my energy perfectly. It keeps everything fresh, and you never get bored. In fact, with this character, I never feel bored at all. On the contrary, I enjoy acting as her so much. And I think you can see that too (Mert and İlhan). So, when they describe Yıldız, honestly, I never saw the story as simply “the first woman” or “the second woman.” Here, these are genuinely people fighting for a seat. Host: It’s like a Game of Thrones. Damla: Yes, it really is a Game of Thrones. Every single character here even (Mert and İlhan’s) characters has a life they want to achieve, and they’re all fighting for it. What made me love this girl was the way she fought. And when I say “the way she fought,” I mean that she never gave up. Her ambition. And at the same time, she never lost her joy. There’s a saying in Urfa that people always use: “Lose everything, but never lose your joy.” I saw that in her, and it gave me such a warm feeling. That’s why, out of all the characters I’ve played, she’s probably the one I’ve enjoyed portraying the most. And I think that feeling reached the audience too, and they embraced me because of it. #BiranDamlaYılmaz Biran Damla Yılmaz felixmanagement Fatih Altayli 🔴🇹🇷
