I was in Bangkok playing Fatal Fury on my laptop when an earthquake struck unexpectedly. I was on the 39th floor of the building and had to run down the emergency stairs, watching the ceiling and walls crack as I descended each step. It was a strange and unsettling experience, but I’m safe now and, honestly, it’s something I’d prefer not to go through again. 😅

Border Down on the Dreamcast is a game that a friend of mine used to talk about a lot back in the day, from its original release through to finally getting hold of a copy. I never got around to playing it when it was current. Earlier this year, in January, I picked up a GDEMU-equipped Dreamcast, and Border Down was one of the games I finally got around to trying. I've only had a few quick goes on it, probably even on stream, but it immediately left an impression. I'm completely clueless when it comes to the game's deeper mechanics and scoring tricks, but I can recognise a damn fine game when I play one. If you're a fan of arcade games or shmups, do yourself a favour and give Border Down a try.

Scottie Scheffler reveals he dealt with hand, foot and mouth this week at the BMW. "To start the week it was pretty painful to grip the club. If I was smarter maybe I would have pulled out, but I was playing so good I felt like if I could knock it out quickly and just get through the first couple rounds I would still have a chance. "I really just did my best to try and battle and it maybe was a poor decision playing, but I've never been one to try and quit."
