I noticed something at the fireworks last night — almost everyone working tickets, safety and security was an immigrant. They were the reason thousands could enjoy the night. Immigration matters more than some people realise.

On average, I receive over 1,300 credible threats per year, and I take the safety of myself, my children, and my employees very seriously. If you are an incompetent government employee and were expecting an apology this morning, you didn’t get one. If I used an F-bomb last week, I hope I did it more than once. If I called a government employee incompetent, they earned it. This was the nicest I could be, given the seriousness of the situation and the repeated security breaches (over 2 dozen in the last year at this airport). HOLD THE LINE.
