I now hate that I know this information.

I think this can be changed by doing new things, every time a big change happens in my life time slows

This is soooo fucking sad, half of our lives are wasted just on education

Just enroll in school. Time always runs at half speed waiting for a class to be over.

It makes me think about the time that I have wasted arguing with retards online, rather than being with my kids. I still love you retards, but I love my kids more. :)

You want life to seem longer? Have you tried getting hooked on a drug and then quitting?

That sucks so fucking much, and it feels so true. But let's highlight the fact it says PERCEPTION. This is not actual time, and we can do more to fix it. We spend the first 18 years of our life LEARNING, EXPERIENCING. That's why adulthood goes faster; we stopped doing those!

I now hate you!

Well, this is a way of viewing it, but not simple the truth

literally described simple shit with made up mathemathical crap.

Only if you don't take the time to slow down. Since I've started journaling three years ago, I can appreciate the movement of time more easily. Sometimes I still get the shock at just how much time has passed, but that's just normal.

Why have you done this to me…

18, 81 - I like it.

It's not. If your 40 now, 18 was just a previous life of yours.

that's not how biology works

I may be a freak on this detail cause I swear time is getting longer as a I get older.

You didn’t intuitively figure that out?

I think the awful work culture contributes to this. If we were working 4 day weeks 6 hours per day I'd wager time would seem to pass much slower

The pure logarithmic model is therefore a helpful heuristic that matches common experience and produces a clean mathematical result of 18, but it is not the full or definitive account of how people actually experience the passage of life.

Hmm. Thats not true to me. It only happens in my opinion, when life gets really busy and you work on deadlines.

Sucks!

nah fam hate ur age

so I just have memories from 10 years so… is not 18 for me…

This is overdone. Not true

Pretty sure YOU @AlandisN ruined this shit for me one time (not exactly this but this conceptually) and I still haven't gotten over it

i knew it and now i can't unsee it

The further the faster

That checks. Stupid math 😂

@grok is this true?

i thought the midway was 23

I get the idea but I can't remember anything till age 12

Interesting model. I always reckoned the halfway point happened sometime in your 20s. Under this logarithmic model, however, if you start at age 1 instead of 4, and go to age 81, then the halfway point becomes age 9, which seems too young. [log(1) + log(81)] ÷ 2 = log(9)

This dude is probably in his early 20s, crashed after math exams and now feels he lived the most or it. There are two surprises waiting for him.
