I offered a simple amendment that wouldn’t cost a cent: Let’s make sure new moms who work for us in Congress are guaranteed breaks to pump. Every single Republican voted no.

Horrible people who hate women and actually dgaf about their kids and families.

Democrats would literally hire pregnant women just to make sure they could use this to delay bills like they used every trick in the book on the big beautiful Bill. If you guys legislated in good faith, you could be afforded some leniency like this. But you don’t.

Democrats, Such pathetic lazy aholes

Republicans are not pro-life they're pro-birth

You're an absolute embarrassment 😂

"I'm a woman! I can do anything a man can do! Except I need these special breaks men don't need!"

Rep. Underwood’s amendment exposes a brutal truth: Congress can’t even guarantee basic workplace rights for its own employees. While Speaker Johnson claims proxy voting for new moms is “unconstitutional,” his own party used pandemic-era remote voting 63+ times. The hypocrisy? Astronomical. Luna’s bipartisan push for parental voting flexibility—blocked by GOP leadership—proves establishment politicians prioritize procedural games over real family values. Cutting $55M for DEI consultants? Easy. Letting new moms pump or vote remotely? Suddenly it’s a constitutional crisis. The system’s rigged against efficiency—always has been.

If they can’t do the job maybe they should stick to vacuuming and cleaning toilets 🤷🏿♂️

Pump your Milk like every other Working Nursing Woman in America, At HOME and bring the bottles to work.

You need MORE breaks? How long has the congress worked this year? How much time off have you had? Where you in you seat for the ENTIRE 8 hours and 45 minutes of Hakeem Jeffries' speech?
