I pay off my CC balance every month. I’m working on getting back to paying my mortgage twice a month. Hit some hard times during Covid so we got out of the habit. Other bills get paid off as soon as I can. I don’t understand why people live in crushing debt all the time.

I always pay off my CC balance every month and paid my mortgage off in half the time. Not everyone can but I recommend you try.

We use our cc for every expense all month, get the 2% cash back, pay it all off at the end of each month, then get an $800 check by the Christmas season just from paying bills we had to pay anyway. It can work but you have to stay responsible.

Credit cards for people with no self-discipline? What could possibly go wrong? While we're at it, let's hand out zero-down interest-only 40 year mortgages.

Exactly! I use my CC for everything to get the cashback option. I then pay it off as soon as the charge posts.
