I Pledge Allegiance.

Red Skelton was a great comedian and American.

I have just rewatched this video three times!!! It is truly amazing!!! Perhaps before someone takes office on whatever level they should have to listen to this until they can recite it verbatim, then, and only then would they be allowed to take the oath of office. Lol.

It’s amazing!

@NoobamaC If you’ve never seen this then it’s a Must Watch. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Red Skelton—my grandma adored him. Johnny Carson & Pat Sajak were her faves as a young woman. Miss her so much. God bless Red Skelton & God bless the USA 🇺🇸. We need civics back in schools. Teachers, profs & unions are a big part of today’s education problem.

Got that right!

@NoobamaC I remember this!!!

THE MEN AND WOMEN BACK OVER 50+ YRS AGO DID A BETTER JOB OF EXPLAINING AMERICA 🇺🇸 JOHN WAYNE, RED SKELETON, DEAN MARTIN, CHARLIE CHAPLIN, PAUL HARVEY, ETC. I URGE YOU TO GO TO YT AND WATCH ALL OF THEM. YOU WILL LEARN A LOT ABOUT HOW THEY FELT ABOUT THE GREATEST COUNTRY 🇺🇸🙂

This has been my pinned post for years.

@KristaMonroe “Under God” was added to the pledge of allegiance in 1954 so leftists want it removed. It doesn’t matter to me if the words are there or not because they are in my heart ❤️ 🤍💙

Blessed by God.

This should be taught in schools!!!

Oh yes, Bill. My family watched Red Skeleton when he had his own weekly tv variety show. He was brilliant.

I love this ❣️❣️❣️👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🫡

This is something kids in school should be able to explain before graduating from High school

Amen Red

Best ever!

Red had ❤️

Tuesday night at 8 pm, dad and I would never miss a show.

A True Patriot! Red Skelton. Watched his show many times. He would always end in costume from last skit(no time to change in live T.V.) and with that humbleness in his voice. Red would tell the audience Good Night and God Bless. Red Skelton,an American Treasure.

For all…

Interesting the recording is from 1969, but he references 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states in 1959.

Because you don’t understand.

I actually watched this on tv with my grandmother ... she always called it the "skelton program" ... perhaps a little melodramatic by today's standards, but my grandmother lived from 1898-1978 ... 2 world wars, korea, and vietnam ... has always resonated with me

As awesome today as it was that night in 1969 !

Yes!

I remember The Red Skelton Show 😍 as a child we would sit and watch it with mom and daddy. This was a man with a HEART AS BIG AS THE SKY ❤️ 🤍 💙 a natural comedian, who warmed hearts throughout the country 🙏🏼

Amen

I’d say, it’s time to get reacquainted with these lyrics and the meaning behind them!

And now you know why democrats won’t recite it or stand for it!

The DEMOCRATS have FORGOTTEN our friend Red Skeleton's reminder of our ALLEGIANCE to flag and COUNTRY. They APPEAR to be trying to give it away to those who would BREACH our borders illegally.

This should be shown in every school in America!!!

No Democrat could sincerely make this pledge, and with this understanding, and remain a Democrat. Remember: Obama said he held to allegiance to no flag. He meant it.

It could bring tears to the eyes, if you're proud of it.

God Bless ‘MERICA 😎🇺🇸
