I post on both Facebook and X because each platform reaches a different audience. Facebook allows me to engage with a local demographic that's often not as politically aware as my audience here. This is crucial when it comes to effective campaigning. I know this approach is effective. How?... Because there’s been a sustained campaign to shut down my Recusant Nine Facebook account. Some The Labour Party politicians have even publicly bragged about it. So I’m not at all surprised that I've had yet another post removed. I’d managed to obtain a video shared by Pakistani sectarian politicians in Oldham Council including councillors who were expelled from the Conservatives for antisemitism. They now operate under the interestingly named Oldham Group banner. I'll let you decide whether this video resembles something straight out of a militant training camp in Afghanistan. Its removal now is telling. These same politicians are preparing to make a move to take control of Oldham Council at the next meeting. Videos like this raise serious questions about who the Oldham Group actually represent and why their actions continue to be shielded from scrutiny. Of course, you'll find similar in towns and cities across the country where Pakistani sectarians and Islamists are playing a more prominent role in political discourses.show more
