It is perfect to have this mentality while in the university because it can help you work very hard to make a first class but nobody is going to give you 5million dollars from anywhere in your entire life.

Don't blame her, 1. She is still a naive student. 2. She might not have the capacity to do business. She might even blow the money due to a lack of entrepreneurial acumen. 3. She has no idea that there are some very low risk investments that can be done with that money while she collects her 2.1 or 2.2.
