I proposed this solution 20 years ago, knowing those in power would block it, they were profiting from the crisis. For two decades, I've watched entire generations priced out of basic shelter. Housing isn't a luxury or investment vehicle—it's a fundamental human need. Every person deserves a roof over... their head, a place to call home, to raise their children. I knew my only hope was time. That one day, the electorate would be filled with people for whom skyrocketing house prices weren't a windfall but a barrier to the most basic human dignity.
