For those who prefer YouTube 👉

Before someone beats me to it, the so-called "fake" logo used in this video is actually a real logo. I made the mark and uploaded it to ChatGPT asking it to come up with a name for it and it gave me "Axiom". Didn't think to check before using it. Sorry, Axiom 😬

If this was helpful, this is the kind of thinking that’s going into Follow along 👉

Very cool! Would love to see you give a spin, design skills I’ve original extracted when I did what you did many many times :)

Very cool to see. Have you tried talking instead of typing?

Definitely plan to do that going forward.

Steve! Love your thought process here. You would love working with @benjitaylor's agentation component to make claude feedback more agile. check it out here:

one request @steveschoger can u make video showing how u made the dashboard?? very less dashboards look really good urs is pretty

Getcha some @WisprFlow. You'll never go back to typing with agents. Great tips.

You should use agentation and dialkit it would save you a bunch of time

i want this on youtube so I can watch it when Im not on my computer when Im supposed to be working 🤣

😘

yessss queuing it up, thanks man!

Steve using Claude Code as a design tool is the future. Curious how your workflow changed with your component structure. Do you lean on a system or freestyle it? We've been obsessed with this problem with VOIT.

your Claude Code design workflow video changed how I think about AI-assisted design. following — the gap between 'developer who designs' and 'designer who codes' is closing fast.

Refactoring UI? Now it’s Refactoring AI

We built something that takes this further - instead of writing code that describes the design, you click the element in the running app, describe the change visually, and @frontman_agent edits the source. The designer never leaves the browser. The moment I saw you reaching for Claude Code to do design work, I knew the canvas was becoming optional.

I couldn’t watch to the end but would like to know if this is available on YouTube ?

👀

Sick synth in the background.

I call it the "dust collector" 😕

Yup, that is my midi controller lately

Turned the full script into structured notes here:

A huge gift! Can't wait to dig in. Watched a little bit and popping in to say that your video composition is soooo tasty 🔥

You should try cmux for your terminal!

Great video. One thing I noticed to save you some time - in the footer, you can tell the AI to create a version of the logo SVG without the text and only the icon, and it will do it, since SVG is just code. You can also tell it to put color/gradients on certain SVG elements, etc.

Nice walktrhough. What do you do with the claude code output?

This design approach really challenges traditional methods.

a designer using claude code as their primary design tool is the most 2026 sentence ever written. the line between design and engineering is basically gone now.

is the final code anywhere to see? this is really good

Mythical refresh pull!

Is there a youtube video of this? I much prefer it

Dude! Just clicked through to this post from @bensbitesdaily and I know you from Fanshawe. Hope you've been well!

@bensbitesdaily Yep—I remember you. Wild! It's been a minute haha

this is exactly where claude code shines. giving it design context upfront and letting it iterate is so much faster than manual tweaking. the terminal first workflow for design feels counterintuitive but once you try it there is no going back.

@design_nocodeio looks interesting…

Master has spoken

Using Claude Code as a primary *design* tool is a fascinating workflow shift. Curious if you're mostly having it generate Tailwind components on the fly or using it for broader layout ideation. Definitely carving out an hour to watch this today. (Also, the studio setup with the synth in the back is a vibe.)

hi steve! i was wondering if you could give it a try to OMEGA-CORTEX and please go to the section "How It Works — Visual Map" so you can see our killer omega-diagnose. thx steve :)

yeah it's like a good starting point for ideas, saves some time. but you still gotta go in and make it good yourself

Using Claude Code as a design tool is the shift most designers haven't made yet. The ones who do are building faster with less friction between idea and output. This video probably clicked something for a lot of people.
