I read $NVDA partnering with $GM to develop autonomous vehicles most bullish for $UBER. People thought $TSLA robo-taxi would be proprietary. Now, most OEMs will have that through $NVDA. Where tech is commoditized, distribution wins. $UBER controls the distribution.

If autonomy is truly a commodity technology, then why did GM and Apple both throw in the towel after spending over $10 billion?

Since when is the solution HW? It's a SW/Real AI issue and you don't automatically get Autonomy by gluing a chip down. I see a Lot of vaporware here.

$TSLA is cooked

So GM is going to build a competitive RoboTaxi to what Tesla will be producing off an assembly line later this year? 🤔 OK, timeframe? 3 to 5 years? Maybe! Electric or Combustion Engines 🤔 Sonics or Escalades? And Uber controls the “distribution”? Really?

I think Google will win here if they can figure out how to use maps for distribution

And $TSLA controls the software

Uber doesn't own any vehicles though.

Tesla has bigger issues that robots and taxis or tech; if crazy people keep harassing Tesla owners and dealers.

Great point! $NVDA's tech could definitely level the playing field for many automakers, but $UBER's distribution model puts them in a prime position to dominate the ride-sharing space.
