leehan said he often gets mistaken for a foreigner even when he's with the members. he doesn't get offended by it but rather finds it funny. when they were still trainees, they went to LA to learn dances, the flight attendants would speak korean to the other members but switch to english the moment they see him 😂 he used to tell them he's korean, but sometimes he just plays along and talks in english 😂 🦁 when boarding the flight, we'd show our tickets and they'd check it, right? i literally boarded with the members, and they said 'oh here's your seat..' in korean to them, but the moment i walked in, they suddenly switched to english.. so i just laughed it off 😂 🦁 there was a time on another flight, i just pretended to be a foreigner. i think it was also a 10 hour flight. i mean, they started talking to me in english the moment i boarded, so i just replied shortly in english too. even when they were serving the food, i spoke briefly in english. 🦁 but toward the time of the last meal, i spoke in korean because i wanted to make myself clear... i said, 'i'll have bibimbap!' in korean and they were really surprised..//

But I didn’t think they would reply to me, and that they’d want to come meet me too. So a meeting happened, and they were really interested in me, wow. In the sense that they could see my passion. Something about me, I guess - I wanted to get to that point, but they told me it’s exhausting. It’s going to be really exhausting, Bec. Because some days you have to join meetings at two or three in the morning. Oh, the time doesn’t match with back home, right? Yeah, the time isn’t the same. Or sometimes castings come really fast and then you have to go really fast - like that. Is the casting online, or do you have to fly there? Online. So I set up the camera like this and then act a little, perform for them to see. Yes. I’m really focused on it and I’m hoping for good news😊🫶

OK, it's cold out there! It's already in the 20s here. This activity has been crazy lately! I haven't seen them this active and coming close together in a long time. I think they're going to do something big again soon! I've proven again that they don't like tech! The closer I get to them with cameras and drones, the more they take them out. They just drained the batteries in my handheld starlight camera when they got close to me—I had just charged them. I also sent the thermal drone up; as soon as it cleared the trees, the ones right in front of me vanished. I've found that if I get the drones too close to them, they will take them or destroy them, but if I hover, they sometimes approach the drones without harming them. I've lost four very expensive drones to them—one was a $15,000 drone—so I try not to get too close with the drones now. I have something very special filmed with the drones that's going to change the world when everything comes out! This is a short video from when I sent the drone up tonight. I'm reviewing the other videos right now and will try to post some more tonight. I did film something on the thermal drone after this part, but I need to see how it looks.

I need to make more films and | don’t want to quit yet.” Interviewer: How did Fox executives react when they saw the movie for the first time? Carpenter: Needless to say, they had a few problems with the movie. They sat down with me and we went through the film. They didn’t like that the white hero was such a buffoon, and that he was being shown up by the Asians. They were afraid the audience wouldn't think this guy was brave, so they asked me to cut out the humor and emphasize his bravery, which was impossible to do. Then we got to the preview stage. The audience that saw it really loved it and laughed, so they wanted me to put the humor back in and go back to what it was—they still hated the movie, though. They didn't want Kurt to play it plenty. They wanted him to be an action hero, a real live action hero, not Jack Burton. They wanted him to be more like Rambo or Stallone. They wanted him to play it straight and it wasn't straight. Interviewer: How was the movie perceived by the audience and the critics? Carpenter: Nobody got it. Same as it was when I just got to college and started playing conference games. The Providence game. Everybody saw this game. I can’t say it was the best experience I’ve ever had. But it was a really useful game because those games prepared me for the most important part of the season in March Madness where I was playing point guard full time. The games against Houston, the games against Iowa State, the games against Arizona, Baylor, where they’re really trying to break you. Especially me when they see me with the high dribbling, right? They’re really trying to, the coach is like, Yo! pressure! Pressure! For me, it’s just time and adjustment. I need to get used to that. Spend more time in practices handling the ball thanks to our guys who are not being selfish by not playing great defense against me. Tyson, Q, TJ, Dre, all these guys were guarding me in the practices, and it’s pretty hard. So, for me having these experiences, not just in the games, but in practice is huge.”
