I really don't dislike or distrust Flock specifically, but there are real, foundational privacy concerns at stake here. The sanctity of one's privacy, knowing that you are not always being watched, does not require justification. It is a good unto itself.

Some men think being bold online means they are becoming more confident. Not necessarily. Sometimes they are not becoming more confident at all. They are becoming more protected, hidden, and distanced from the weight of real human interaction. And that matters, because what you repeat becomes practice. If a man keeps using hidden profiles or digital distance to say things he would never say face to face, he may be training a pattern that does not help him in real life. Then later he wonders why real confidence feels unnatural, why interactions feel heavy, or why he does not know how to carry himself in a grounded way. That is the deeper point.
