I'm getting really frustrated at myself, blessings. I should have planned for a better debut.. I didn't get a starting soon screen with my oc on it or a debut teaser trailer. I don't know how to roleplay a cute story as an opening to my debut. Usually, someone does like a lore video or a song cover for an intro.. I'm really bummed.. This is my first debut, and I shouldn't be too hard on myself since im still new to this, but it makes me sad sometimes 🌸💔 Sorry for my "in my feelings" post. Im just a little lost

Even with close confirmation I sometimes close my terminal and think "OH FUCK NO." Coming soon to Ghostty, you can undo that. 🥰 (Technical details: we keep the terminal running for a configurable time in the background before terminating for real, similar to email undo send). (macOS only for now, AppKit APIs provide a nice undo manager implementation that eases this quite a bit. I still have to do research on GTK for Linux.)

I was gonna go to college for acting, for theater and stuff like that. So when I actually got to college, that was my major. Kind of switched plans a little bit because of the basketball thing, but I would love to be an actor. Be in a musical if I need to. When I’m in San Francisco, hopefully I can find some little gig to get on, and hopefully somebody can put me in a movie.”

To those who say "it's her choice" I used to say the same thing about my own Hijab. I was covered head to toe. Even on the beach. Even with my male relatives. And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice. You know why? Because the other option was burning in hell, hung by my hair for eternity. That's what they taught me since childhood. Yes, let me repeat it for you to just understand about our version of “freedom of choice.” I grew up in an Islamist culture that gave me two options. Cover yourself and go to heaven. Or don't cover, and be hanged by your hair and burned in hell. Like when someone puts a gun to your head and says "you can go left or right", technically, yes, that's a choice. I picked heaven. I called it freedom. And I believed it, because that's what happens when fear is all you've ever known. And if you think I shouldn't be telling you my story, I don't care. I really, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, don't care. The women still living under that "choice"? I care about them. #LetUsTalk

The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me.
