I really hate that Ash gave up Primeape
Комментарии: 33

What sucks is I think he’s the only pokemon he never saw again. When they did that little montage at the end

Ash seriously let dude finesse him out of his Primeape.

Ash has a habit of doing this throughout the series for one reason or another.

It still makes zero sense why he gave it up: oh to milk Charizard who did absolutely nothing but cause Ash to lose. He could’ve at least kept it through the league

The funny part is If ash journey continued into paldea am 99% sure Prime Ape would have returned

Imagine getting spoiled by a tweet in the big year 2025 because Crunchyroll doesn’t have Pokemon

The thing that bugged me about this was that he only had Primeape for literally one episode

Dude's pokemon lost to Ash's Primeape, so the slimeball, instead of training his pokemon better, pressures a 10 year old into giving up his winning Pokemon. And its not even like when he left Charizard in the Charicific Valley since he could still call upon him.

I really hated when he gave up Butterfree too but yeah this one hurt

Part of the Anime was having to accept that sometimes we have to part ways for the best, but it doesn't mean you'll never see each other again(they never saw each other again).

The writers also gave up on Primeape which is stupid too.

In this thread People not understanding the concepts of caring about something other than yourself, letting a friend go their own way without you, and not everything is about you

I seriously don’t understand why they even gave it to him if they had no interest in letting him keep it, did the writers get psyched about the idea of ash having one then immediately get bored and got rid of it asap?? So odd

I’m surprised I asked you didn’t realize this like bro he was already a champion. Imagine if he went to the other tournaments with Ash and his full team of Pokemon

Primeape would have eventually died from terminal agitation if he stayed Ash's pokemon.

Isn't that the guy that lost that belt to Ash's Primeape, then tricks 10 year old Ash into giving him that same pokemon he lost to, only to never give it back to Ash like he promised? And Ash just handed over one of his strongest pokemon at that time.🤦♂️

He gives up so many sweet Pokémon

Seriously! Whoever thought of the idea of Ash giving up his strongest/best Pokemon needs to be fired. Every time he gets something good it doesn't last forever! His cooler counterpart Red, would do the opposite

Straight up said "hey, that's my Pokemon!....you can have 'im!"

I hate how the writers just had Primeape in ash's team for 2 episodes and then leaves him to never reunite ever again

Primeape really should have been around longer, but it served its purpose, to foreshadow what would happen to Charizard. Even if he did stay, he'd would have just become a gag Pokémon.

Same. He only had it for two days then gave it away. He should've kept it.

I look back on ash giving away his pokemon like this as a way to show the writers didn’t know how to properly rotate his team back then. So to make space in his party he just gives them away. Or rarely uses them

I also hate when Ash becomes dumber and less based as the show goes on.

He had it for like 3 episodes. Who got sent to oak with Krabby in interim?

Me too!

Guess he wasn't in his....."Prime" after all huh?

He’s such a moron.

Hey, he is new ownerd problem now

I remember when that part reminds me of Paul abandoning Chimchar since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Series but Ash gets Chimchar after Paul abandons him.

Least @Zactoshii reunited them in his series; one of the reasons why creative Pokemon individuals are doing better in Pokemon stories right now!

I stand by this but a toddler could run rings around Kanto and Unova Ash in a Pokémon battle

Well yes, but I am also in good hands.
