I really like the Resident Evil ending

I think a lot of the hate is coming from ppl expecting this guy to be Leon or Chris. This is literally showing a perspective of one of the hundreds of notes and audio recording you find in the games and ppl can’t grasp that.

I don't like it, purely for personal reasons. I won't deny it's good writing, it's GREAT writing. But it just hurts to see our hero come so far and grow as a person, just to die right before the finish line, so truly none of this mattered

I loved the ending. It's accurate for what would and has gone down in the games. When you look at the game in the lense of one of the voice recordings or notes you would find in game, you connect with the movie on a whole other level and see the vision all the better.

i gave it an 8.5/10 i actually enjoyed that ending as well tbh, great scare element and more than enough resident evil monster

They really dropped the ball not blowing raccoon city up .

The movie was a 9/10 and the ending was pretty good even if it was a bad ending you know what I mean?

What I really liked about the ending is that is really wasnt until the syringe was lost that he turned into a monster, he really wanted to be a father so bad and get back to his girl and baby that he was fighting the infection. For me beautiful ending

See i like it because it reminded you that this wasn’t an RE protagonist, he wasn’t gonna overcome the infenction and fight it off. They kept him in character…and also gave me the reminder of “Oh yeah, we fucking nuked this place. There aint no cure to save this damn city lol.”

The ending makes complete sense we know what happens to raccoon city in RE2-3 if Bryan was able to create the cure and save raccoon city the events of RE2,3, and 9 wouldn’t happen Leon’s story wouldn’t have as much depth this ending narratively needed to happen not saying it’s ok

My issue isn’t that he ultimately didn’t win, it’s that the scientist made absolutely no sense in their reactions. They turned into incompetent bumbling idiots who seems to be incapable of doing anything (seemingly) out of nowhere.

If Brian had gone home to talk to Michelle, he could’ve avoided becoming a monster while also accepting fatherhood. Instead, he lost everything. It’s so sad, but so good.

Since this is a reboot. I think this is like how it kicks off. If there is a Resident Evil Two coming out, maybe Leon and Claire will be in the next one.

Yeah, basically this is what pisses me off watching this movie because he goes on this last courier mission very last one just to bring the cure for the tea virus just for the scientist. The people who are supposed to be fucking helping could’ve easily cured him and like given him some of it so he could’ve been cured and stopped their death decided not to fucking do that not to be scientist and fumbled with it so badly that he became infected and just killed them all they’re stupidity and they’re unwillingness to help him cause their death. Honestly, that was deserved

I haven't watched it yet but I've been reading fan reviews and I can say that you're the only person who likes the ending. I can't wait to see it myself and form an opinion but thank you
