I really liked Patrick Kennedy's answer to Andy’s question about the battle at 174 between he and Nelson Brands. Particularly appreciated the passion in which he addressed the additional dynamic of Nelson being the son of Terry Brands and nephew of Tom Brands.

I know Brands has been an AA and Kennedy has not, but I feel it’s pretty obvious right now PK is on a higher level than Brands.

I interviewed Kennedy in high school for a story about him for @mnguillotine. He was one of the most focused high school wrestlers I have interviewed. I don't know if he will win a national title, but I had no doubt after talking to him that it would not be for lack of effort.
