Disappointing BBC again !! Great race and a disappointment for Keely. However, the whole event was spoiled yet again by the BBC's terrible use of cameras during the distance events...the constant close ups / shots from behind / shots from in front. All give no real idea or feel for the race unfolding. What has happened to the tried and tested use of the longer distance angles which give the viewer a great idea of positions of the athletes and where they are on the track. The BBC director seems to think that because he has access to "hundreds" of cameras that he has to use them all...all except the most important pan out camera. I have spoken to many about this and all agree. If there is someone reading this from the BBC can you please explain !
