🚨Recap of the former Migrant Shelter called the Chandler hotel in Times Square NYC🚨 This fomer migrant shelter held over 1500 single male migrant and along with some of the residents at this location, we had some gang members . Moroccan migrants would often fight outside this location some of those fights would end up in blood due to stabbing . The Moroccans also had their own little shoplifting crew that was constantly getting arrested by the NYPD . Venezuelan migrants also had a stronghold on this location, some gang members were selling drugs directly outside the shelter , robbery crews also lived at this location. Sources in the NYPD would often complain to me on now security would treat them when they would show for a call. Telling the cops they would have to wait outside and sometimes not even letting them in . One incident that came from this location will always stick out . An NYPD executive posted a picture of an extremely dangerous TDA member that was wanted for a quadruple shooting in double homicide. The executive called me asking for help to try to find this suspect , i ended up tracking the suspect to this exact location and my sources had eyes on him and even saw them scan in. When NYPD officers arrived I was told the security lied to cops and told them the gang member wasn't at this location. A year later agents from the HSI New York violent gang task force were able to track and arrest the alleged suspect. Luckily this location is closed but that doesn't mean the migrants at this location went home, they were moved to other migrant shelters throughout the city and some even got free apts paid for by taxpayers, both local and federal taxpayers. Stolen Guitar Recovered, Suspect Arrested Following Foot Pursuit On June 1 at approximately p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported theft in progress at 1611 Redmond Way, Redmond. A store employee reported that a suspect entered the store, stole a guitar valued at approximately $880, and fled the area on foot toward the nearby light rail station. Officers quickly located the suspect aboard a train and recovered the stolen guitar onboard. The suspect then fled from the train onto the light rail tracks and jumped an estimated 15 feet from the top of the downtown light rail station to a roof below in an attempt to evade officers. Officers established a coordinated perimeter with transit security and safely contained the area. The suspect was ultimately located and taken into custody without further incident. The stolen guitar was recovered and returned to the business. The store employee positively identified the suspect, who was taken into custody on theft and obstruction charges. A special thank you to Sound Transit Security for their assistance during the incident and to Sound Transit - 🚆 🚈 🚍 for temporarily halting train service in the area, helping officers safely locate and apprehend the suspect. Drone First Responder Helps Officers Catch Shoplifting Suspect On June 17 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Arvada Police received a report from a loss prevention officer of an active shoplifting incident at the Target near 78th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. When confronted by store security, the suspect fled east on foot. Fortunately, our Drone First Responder (DFR) program was already in the air and quickly located the suspect, tracking his movements to a nearby Arby’s at 80th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. Responding officers arrived and were able to safely identify and contact the suspect inside the restaurant. During the investigation, officers discovered the suspect had an active arrest warrant and was allegedly responsible for stealing more than $340 worth of merchandise from the store. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to jail. The Drone First Responder program continues to provide officers with real-time information, helping improve response times and safely resolve incidents throughout our community.

🚨 LVMPD Arrests Violent Crime Suspect After High-Speed Pursuit 🚨 Earlier this morning, a murder occurred in North Las Vegas. Just 30 minutes later, LVMPD officers responded to a crash near Spring Mountain and I-15. While investigating that crash, officers were approached by a citizen who reported they had just been carjacked. Through quick investigative work, our officers determined the vehicle involved in the crash was also connected to the earlier homicide. The suspect from the murder was now also a suspect in the carjacking. Once we obtained the license plate of the carjacked vehicle, our officers and our Real-Time Crime Center tracked the suspect driving around our Downtown Area Command. Officers located the vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. The chase continued along the Boulder Highway corridor, during which the suspect carjacked a second victim at a fast-food drive-thru. Our LVMPD Air Unit maintained visual contact as the suspect reached speeds of over 105 mph. Moments later, the suspect crashed into a bus stop near Boulder Hwy & Tropicana—critically injuring one person waiting there. The suspect fled again after a third carjacking, but our officers were able to safely end the pursuit using a PIT maneuver near Sahara & Boulder Hwy. The suspect is now in custody. In total: 🔹 3 carjackings 🔹 1 homicide 🔹 1 person critically injured We commend our officers for their swift actions and teamwork to bring this suspect into custody.

He then briefly stepped away from the counter and returned with a large knife in his hand. The employees at this location became frightened and could be seen moving away from the front counter to create a safe distance between themselves and the suspect. The suspect began hitting the counter several times before going behind it to take a bag of food and then fled on foot. The suspect in this case is described as a bald black male wearing a black and white checkered shirt and black jeans.
